This year, the story in the play, Sanaghrisouha was set in Beirut. As set designer, I had to bring Beirut to the stage. My research consisted of studying both banal and iconic buildings in the city. From there, I started sketching. Once that step done, I moved on to building the set.
Given the small budget, the set was made entirely out of cardboard, cut manually. After 10 days of intense work, all by myself, the set was done and installed, for a 3 day performance.
